For those of you who were not at the committee mtg last night and haven’t aready heard, I will be stepping down as Committee Chairperson. In the past year we have held several fundraisers in hopes of purchasing a new Utility Trailer and additional camping equipment. The Parish has stepped up and come thru for us time & time again! You can also see the list of responsibilities at Merit Badge Research Center  After the discussion at this past month’s Committee Meeting, I have resurrected the infamous “Volunteer Sign Up List”. For those releatively new to the troop let me explain the intent. The goal is for each adult to “coordinate” a minimum of two events during the year. During the next few meetings, we ask that all scouts make sure to bring their rank advancement books. The committee would like to make sure that the Troop records are updated. This way if the scouts loses his book, especially those who are going to any camps, we will have a backup of all his rank advancements. |
