Next week’s campout is going to be a hike/campout at PREIST LAKE, NOT Heart Lake. It was determined that there would be too much snow at Heart Lake this time of year. The hike will be about 3 miles.

Chewelah Peak

Chewelah Peak/ 49 Degrees North is Dec 16 -18

We will be staying at Chewelah Peak Learning Center which is about 3 minutes from 49 Degrees North Ski Area and Cross Country and Snowshoe Trails.

Hiawatha Campout

This is a reminder that this month’s campout is at Look Out Pass and the Hiawatha Trail. The dates are August 19-21. The cost is $9 per person + $6 each for those who want to ride the shuttle back.

Hiawatha Campout

The troop will be going to bike the trail at Hiawatha August 19-21. We will be using the troop trailer for camping equipment etc. If you have a trailer that we could use to haul the bikes, that would be greatly appreciated. Please let Susan know ASAP.

Priest Lake Campout

The camp out is Friday June 24th – 26th. All campers must have a PFD (life jacket) and a whistle attached for canoeing and boating, it’s Idaho Law. more detailed info will come out later.

CCC campout update

Because of the forecasted cold weather on Saturday we are not going to spend the night up on Mt. Spokane. Plans will stay the same, just be shortened. You will still need to dress warmly, bring your 10 essentials in a day pack. No meals will be required for Saturday night or Sunday morning. On February 26 we will be going to the CCC lodge on Mt.Spokane. There we will work on wilderness survival for the older scouts and go snow shoeing. More information later.
