We are going to camp Cowles. We are planing to do a service project, but it depends on the weather. More information later.

 Because of the forecasted cold weather on Saturday we are not going to spend the night up on Mt. Spokane. Plans will stay the same, just be shortened. You will still need to dress warmly, bring your 10 essentials in a day pack. No meals will be required for Saturday night or Sunday morning. There we will work on wilderness survival for the older scouts and go snow shoeing. More information later.  Looks like we’re going to Camp Morrison in McCall Id. We are going the week of July 18-23. They have a “mess hall”, showers and based on pictures a really nice camp setting on Payette Lake near McCall Idaho. They have 30 possible merit badge opportunities, including the Cullimore Program for scouts age 13 +, which is a high adventure program that includes an over night camp out away from camp.
